Banana Bread | VEGAN RECIPE | ft. The Hungry Vegan
In which we make delicious vegan banana bread with our friend, Kelly!

RECIPE
– 4 medium extra ripe bananas
– 2 tbsp ground flax
– 1/2 cup plant based milk
– 1/4 cup oil OR 1/2 cup apple sauce
– 2 tbsp maple syrup
– 2 tsp vanilla
– 1/2 cup + 2 tbsp cane sugar
– 1 cup oats
– 1 tsp baking soda
– 1/2 tsp baking powder
– 1/4 tsp salt
– 2 cups flour

METHOD
1. Preheat oven to 350 F
2. Mash bananas in a medium bowl. Add flax, milk, oil, maple syrup, vanilla and mix until ingredients are incorporated
3. Combine cane sugar, oats, baking soda, baking powder, salt, flour in medium bowl and mix until ingredients are incorporated
4. Combine wet and dry ingredients and mix until thoroughly combined
5. Pour mixture into baking dish and bake at 350 F for 40-50 minutes
6. Allow banana bread to cool for 5-10 minutes
7. Serve and enjoy!
