Ginger Beef & Broccoli Stir-Fry Chinese Style Recipe (by Xiao's Kitchen)
Welcome to Xiao’s Kitchen. My name is Xiao Wei and my goal is to make your cooking simple and exciting. Ever since my Mother showed me how to cook at an early age, I have always had a strong passion for cooking. My family still live in Inner Mongolia, in the northern part of China, where I visit each year and learn new Chinese recipes.

450g Frying Steak
2 Tbsp Cornflour
300g Beef Stock
2 Tbsp Caster Sugar
2 Tbsp Light Soy Sauce
5g Ginger
3 Cloves Garlic
200g Broccoli
1 Tbsp Sesame Oil
Salt to Taste

1. Finely chop the garlic and ginger
2. Cut the broccoli into bite-size pieces
3. Cut beef into thin strips
4. In a small bowl combine cornflour, stock, sugar and soy sauce. Stir until sugar and cornflour has dissolved
5. Heat 2 Tbsp oil in a wok over high heat
6. Add the beef and stir-fry for 2 to 4 minutes or until browned
7. Add the ginger, garlic and broccoli, stir-fry for 2 minutes
8. Add the stock mixture and stir, cook for 2 minutes or until sauce thickens
9. Add sesame oil and stir
10. Transfer into a dish and serve with rice
