Brown Rice 1/2 Kg (Soaked for 3 to 4 Hours)
Jaggery 1/2 Kg
Low-fat Milk 1 Cup
Desi Ghee 4 tbsp
Almond 1 tbsp
Green Cardamom 4
Fennel 1 tbsp
Raisins 1 tbsp
Coconut 1 tbsp (Chopped)
Step 1: Take a pot and add water as you required for boiling the rice and then add Soaked Brown Rice (Soaked for 3 to 4 Hours) and boiled it on high flame for 10 to 15 minutes. After that strainer it and dish out it.
Step 2: Now take a pot and add Jaggery and add Low-fat Milk and stir it and cook it on medium flame until it’s become melted (It’s may take 3 to 5 minutes). After that strainer it.
Step 3: Now take a pot and add Desi Ghee and add Cloves, Fennel and slightly fry it and then add Green Cardamom, Almond, Raisins, Coconut and stir it on medium flame. Now add Jaggery syrup (from Step 2) and stir it and then add boiled brown rice (from Step 1) and stir it and cover with lid and cook for 20 to 25 minutes on very low flame with lid. After that your Gur wale Rice is ready.
