Fried Poha | Fried Flattened Rice
Poha is a western indian breakfast recipe and they have there own version to it because western Indians usually put bhujia or Sev or peanuts in almost all of their recipes.
Since I am not following there taste prefrences ,I skipped the namkeen (peanuts/chana dal) part of it and made it our go to Breakfast.
– Being Rich in Fibre, Poha is considered a good meal for diabetics.
– It’s a great breakfast food as the healthy carbs in it provide energy to the body to carry out it’s daily functions.⛹️⛹️
In case of any confusions in the recipe above:
One bowl of flattened rice/ Poha (washed)
2 tbsp oil
12-14 Curry leaves
1 tsp Mustard seeds
1 tsp Cumin seeds
Half tsp Sugar
1 finely chopped Onion
2 finely chopped Green Chillies
1 tsp Turmeric powder
Salt as per taste
