This video review is one of a series that features the RecTec Bullseye Grill.
Here is the link to the recipe that can be printed – https://learntobbq.com/recipes/pulled-pork-using-the-rec-tec-bullseye-grill-and-the-fireboard-smart-thermometer-keto-hflc/
It also includes a review of the FireBoard Cloud Connected Smart Thermometer.
The recipe is Pulled Pork.
The Challenge – Using a Bullseye Grill that does not have Automatic Temperature Control do an 8 hour, pulled pork cook by using the smart capabilities of the FireBoard Thermometer.
It was a lot easier than I thought and the results were just as good as any ,000 plus pellet smoker.
What is a Bullseye Grill and what it is not? It is a real grill that can replace a high direct radiant heat grill like a Weber kettle charcoal grill or gas grill.
What it is not is a replacement for a pellet smoker with electronic temperature control.
Now you can use it as a smoker but it will act more like a stick burner for you will have to adjust the pellet flow manually.
The Bullseye is the only pellet grill that I know that can go from a cold grill to finishing chicken thighs in less than 45 minutes.
The only grill I know that could do that is a gas grill and I would rather cook with wood than gas.
