Chicken Alfredo Recipe
Ingredients:
- 8 oz fettuccine noodles
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
Instructions:
- Cook the fettuccine noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat. Add the chicken pieces and cook for 5-7 minutes, until browned and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the pan and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the remaining 1 tablespoon of butter and the minced garlic. Cook for 1-2 minutes, until fragrant.
- Add the heavy cream to the skillet and stir to combine with the garlic butter. Cook for 2-3 minutes, until the mixture has thickened slightly.
- Add the grated Parmesan cheese to the skillet and stir to combine with the cream mixture. Cook for 1-2 minutes, until the cheese has melted.
- Season the sauce with salt and pepper to taste.
- Add the cooked chicken back to the skillet and stir to combine with the sauce.
- Serve the chicken and sauce over the cooked fettuccine noodles.
- Garnish with chopped fresh parsley, if desired.
